The Business Model:

Heraldic Art & Design specialise in the creation of a unique bespoke gift for any special occasion. By a process of researching any family name of European origin, and locating the earliest 'coat of arms' for that surname. This work is performed at our research centre in Inverness and from the location of the coat of arms we are able to create a superb individual hand crafted work of art.

The customer is able to choose from a range of sizes to suit every pocket from £25 to £1200. Once chosen our highly skilled artists then hand paint the structure for their 'coat of arms', text is added by our calligraphers. The part finished product is then shipped to our embroiderers in the Highlands or Western Isles, who will then hand embroider the picture with gold and silver bullion thread to finally create the personal work of art. The product is then shipped to the client any where in the world 6 weeks from order.

The business supplies products world wide and has growing success in the UK in particular Scotland where it has been established since 1991.
